Humber Update: #BellLetsTalk, Black History Month, World Nutella Day

Hi, I’m Julian and this
is your Humber Update. Humber encouraged students
and staff to engage in the #BellLetsTalk conversation
again this year. The event brought together the
Humber community to engage in discussions and get information
about mental health support on campus. This year, Canadians and others
around the world shared more than 150-million
messages of support for the #BellLetsTalk campaign. Humber kicked off Black
History Month with an opening ceremony
at North Campus. The event included drumming,
dancing and remarks from members of
the Humber community Humber First Year Experience
and the Black Academic Success and Engagement equity hub
are also hosting a poetry slam and open mic on February
12th at Lakeshore Campus. Visit humber.ca/events for more
Black History Month events. World Nutella Day spread joy
at Humber on February 5th. Baking & Pastry Arts Management
students collaborated with Nutella to create some hazelnut spread-infused
pastries and chocolate showpieces. First produced in 1964,
Nutella is available in in approximately 160
countries worldwide. That’s all for today, Humber. For more news and stories
